The Australian government has introduced new legislation to parliament that amends laws relating to consolidated groups, despite the changes being proposed nearly two years ago.
The Tax Laws Amendment (2010 Measures No 1) Bill 2010 was sent to parliament last week and follows the government's announcement in May 2008 that it would introduce measures from the previous administration.
