Wragge & Co has assembled a Middle East team to open a regional office by late-2009. London head Nicola Mumford is responsible for Middle East strategy while outsourcing head, David Hamlett, will oversee fee-earning work.
While no final decision has been taken yet, Wragge’s is contemplating offices in Abu Dhabi, Doha and Dubai.
Wragge’s Middle East practice centres on energy projects, and it services central governments and sovereign wealth funds. The firm opened its Chinese office in Guangzhou in 2007.
